What is rhinoplasty?
Rhinoplasty reshapes the bone and cartilage of the nose to change its proportions, profile or tip — and, where breathing is obstructed, to correct the airway at the same time. It can be done closed (incisions inside the nostrils, no visible scar) or open (a small incision across the columella), and the surgeon chooses the approach based on how much structural work your nose needs.

If you also have difficulty breathing through your nose, tell us: a septoplasty can often be combined in the same operation. The final assessment is made by your surgeon after examination.

How many days do I need to stay in Turkey?+
Usually around 7 days, with all transfers included. An English-speaking coordinator is with you throughout your stay, and your surgeon confirms the exact length once your plan is set.
How long until my nose looks final?+
Most of the swelling settles within the first few weeks, and you will look presentable well before that. The nose continues to refine for up to 12 months, with the tip usually the last area to settle. This is normal and expected.
Will there be a visible scar?+
With a closed rhinoplasty the incisions are inside the nostrils and there is no external scar. With an open technique there is a small incision across the columella, the strip of skin between the nostrils, which typically fades to a fine line.
